Why didn’t anyone tell me that October is over and I need to decorate for Thanksgiving?? No, seriously! Where did October go? My family isn’t big on celebrating Halloween but as the kids are getting older, they are asking for costumes and to go trick o’ treating, for obvious reasons, we all decided to watch movies and binge on junk food this year. With that being said, when my daughter said she wanted to be a cheetah for Halloween, I casually said “yeah, we can go this weekend to buy you a costume” and she looked at me and said “Mom, Halloween IS this weekend and it’s ok I just want you to paint my face and I’ll wear my cheetah pajamas” Bless this girl!

So, what are you doing this year? Are you staying in and watching movies like us, or going out and getting candy? This is a no judgement zone, whatever works for your family! I’ve seen neighborhoods decorate and mamas being creative with giving out candy.

Since I moved to San Francisco a week ago, I have been packing and unpacking and I don’t want to see no moving boxes for a good 5 years! AHHH…it’s exhausting! Why do I do this to myself? I’m kind of feeling mama guilt, because my son gets pretty creative with his costumes and maybe I should have pushed for costumes at home.

With that being said, I feel like I’m trying to organize our new home, get the kids settled, work from home a few days a week and get the nursery ready…oh and decorate for the holidays. Coffee? Anyone? I had forgotten how there’s tired and then there’s pregnant tired!
